Matterhorn Ski Paradise
High above Zermatt, a world of eternal ice, spectacular peaks, and boundless views awaits you. At 3,883 meters above sea level lies the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise—the highest mountain station in Europe.
From the observation deck, an impressive 360° panorama unfolds, taking in 38 four-thousand-meter peaks and 14 glaciers in Switzerland, Italy, and France. The Matterhorn can be seen here from a truly unique perspective.

Mountainbike
Zermatt is a paradise for mountain bike enthusiasts. At the foot of the Matterhorn, between 1,400 and 3,100 metres above sea level, lies a true mountain biking paradise: ideal for beginners, perfect for advanced riders. Particularly popular are the Sunnegga, Riffelberg and Moos flow trails, which combine varied riding experiences with spectacular views of the Matterhorn.
Mountain Lakes
All around Zermatt, numerous idyllic mountain lakes are waiting to be discovered. More than 150 lakes dot the alpine landscape—on clear days, some of them reflect the Matterhorn on their still waters.
Particularly impressive is the 5-Lakes Hike, which leads to Stellisee, Grindjisee, Grünsee, Moosjisee, and Leisee. The Matterhorn is reflected in three of these lakes—a unique backdrop for a hike through the alpine landscape.
